Fire protection

Fire protection

Fire protection is a moral and legal obligation to guarantee the safety of staff at work. If the fire safety is not fulfilled by for example passive fire protection, the financial and social effects of a fire could become catastrophic.

Fire protection is crucial as it provides:

  • Protection for the staff - a way of people to get out/away or find shelter in the event of a fire breaking out.
  • Protection of assets - it minimises damage to the construction before the fire service arrives on site.
