Railway bridge Stora Helvetet, Storlien

The Mittbanan railway across the ravine with the rather peculiar name "Stora Helvetet" (The Big Hell) was built towards the end of the 19th century. Over the years, the railway bank across the ravine has suffered subsidence and movement, which have been carefully monitored by landslide detection systems.

The construction phase of the new bridge has been completed and the railway service started operating on the bridge in October 2018.

Mytec has been part of the anti-corrosion treatment after the assembly of the load-bearing steel structure was completed.

The final touches will be carried out in 2019.
